What this journal is for
We publish for readers interested in true-crime media, familiar routines, thoughtful recommendations, and personal expression. We are an apparel brand, not an investigative newsroom, law-enforcement agency, or legal advice service.
Sourcing real cases
Our approach is to use identifiable public sources, favor official records and established reporting, and link supporting material beside claims or in the source list. A discussion thread can show an opinion or preference; it does not establish a crime fact. We aim to distinguish confirmed information, allegations, and unresolved questions, and avoid inventing dialogue, evidence, or conclusions about real people.
Respect for people
Case coverage should avoid graphic imagery, speculation presented as fact, and jokes at victims’ expense. Shopping sections promote the AllegedTee store; they do not imply that a victim or family endorses a product.
AI-assisted production and editorial identities
We use AI-assisted tools for research preparation, article production, editing, and images, together with automated quality checks. This does not mean every article receives a human review before publication. Our named columns use editorial personas and generated portraits, without invented professional credentials or claims of firsthand case experience.
Images and quotations
Generated scenes are illustrations, not evidence or historical photographs. When using archival or third-party imagery, the aim is to retain source and rights information and describe what the image actually shows. Quotations should be attributed; an original illustrative line should not be presented as a real person’s statement.
Corrections and contact
If something is wrong, email support@allegedtee.com with the article URL, the passage in question, and a reliable supporting source where possible. We can correct the article, clarify wording, or remove material that cannot be supported. Substantive factual corrections should carry a correction note explaining what changed; minor spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a separate note. We do not promise a particular response time.
